The NSS wing of the University organized a virtual session on 14th June 2023 on World Blood Donor Day. The guest for the session was Dr. Vyoma Agrawal, a Food and Nutrition Expert. She explained the importance of blood donation and motivated everyone to become a blood donor as it could save the precious lives of the ones in need. The expert also shared valuable information about nutrition-rich food in this fast-paced lifestyle. The session was attended by the faculty members, staff, and students of the University.

World Blood Donor Day is celebrated every year on June 14 to thank altruistic acts of selflessness of voluntary blood donors and celebrate life and humanity. The theme of World Blood Donor Day 2023 is ‘Give blood, give plasma, share life, share often’.
